A wiki is a website designed to be collaboratively edited by multiple people to produce some kind of knowledge base. I am not sure if this will actually happen here, but here's hoping!

Wikis use a simple markup language that allow you to create and edit pages readily without having to know html. This wiki is run using DocuWiki . This is a simple but well regarded wiki system.

A description of the DocuWiki's markup can be found here and you can pick your way through the manual as well. I acknowledge this can be a bit intimidating to work through at first. I am happy to demonstrate how you edit the wiki at any OGA meeting and you will see that it is actually quite simple. It is also quite safe as one can undo any changes going back over 7 days.

I appreciate picking your way through software manuals is not for most people. If this is the case, but you want to contribute, just send me some text in an email with any pictures as attachments and I can readily add the material for you.
