+The trip up to Monastery Landing is only suitable for rowing, paddling, or power craft.  Be on the lookout for sunken trees and branches.   If struck awkwardly some could easily hole your boat. These can be hard to see with the tannin in the water.   Some have been marked with buoys by locals.
